The Implications of Remote Viewing

I would title this video “The Implications of Remote Viewing”.
His proof is quite compelling. The whole story is fascinating.
Four stars if your cup of tea is the mind.

Presenting is Russell Targ, a physicist and author who was a pioneer in the development of the laser and laser applications, and was co-founder of the Stanford Research Institute’s (SRI) investigation into psychic abilities in the 1970s and 1980s. His work with SRI in what was a new area, called remote viewing, has been widely published. His most recent book is “The Reality of ESP: A Physicist’s Proof of Psychic Abilities.” In 1976, Targ retired from Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space Co. as a senior staff scientist.

It seems noteworthy to say that I found his explanation of these abilities quite detailed. One such detail is the neutrality of the abilities. How these abilities are used is relative to the consciousness of each individual.

Synchronicity

Synchronicity is a concept, first explained by psychoanalyst Carl Jung, which holds that events are “meaningful coincidences” if they occur with no causal relationship yet seem to be meaningfully related.

So, I’m catching the train in Seattle Wednesday night, its cold and dark, its the shortest day of the year. I am walking down the concrete walkway next to the train looking for my car and then finding my seat. I am ready to put my nose into a favorite old book and a woman sits down next to me. Her name is Regina. We exchange pleasantries and get into a wonderful conversation. The next thing you know I’m wishing her well at my stop in Olympia.

She was carrying a Steinbeck novel but had forgotten her glasses. I had forgotten my headphones and so we talked. She was much younger and a College level English teacher about to move to Portland and begin a teaching position. We have a delightful conversation. We have many shared perspectives and interests. She feels like someone I’ve always known, a connection.

The truth is, everything in our life is connected. From the past, to the present and future — every single coincidence or accident we stumble upon is connected, linked. No matter how small or big, it is all about synchronicity.

Every action you make creates an effect in the universe. You unconsciously connect your thoughts to others. Synchronicity is the law of oneness. We are all connected. There is no separation between you and anyone or anything. We are all connected.

There are no coincidences, no accidents. Every coincidence has meaning for us.

Whether you feel like you are having a perfect day, or a bad day, the universe is sending you a message. People and things happening in an exact moment is nothing but synchronicity and, fortunately, there is a way to accept it.

Do you know the saying “When the student is ready, the master appears”?

That is exactly how synchronicity is explained. Whenever you are synchronized with something you truly want, you are more likely to meet that thing, which is why similar people meet ‘accidentally’. The thing is, they are tuned in to the exact same frequency, and synchronicity does its best to match them. My life these days is moving in that direction and I couldn’t be more pleased.

We connected on so many levels and we reflected back to each other many wonderful things. I know so because it felt so good. And though I do not expect we will ever meet again, I am so grateful for such a deep conversation. The seats on Amtrak were assigned, and the universe placed us together for a trip down the tracks to Olympia. And I am grateful.

As You Awaken

I saw this on Facebook and just had to put it here on my blog.

as-you-awakenIt is so true, that nothing but finding the center of who we are, will ever bring peace in this world of polarity. In the center lie the answers.

As Lao Tzu says: “Love is a decision. Not an emotion.”  “At the center of your being you have the answer; you know who you are and you know what you want.”

105 DAYS

It will take you one hundred and five days to do the following five things. Now you don’t know how you will change doing these things, one at a time, for 21 days at a time, but something will change. You don’t know what you will discover, but you will discover things.

Here are the five techniques:
Do one at a time. Do it for 21 days.
Then let me know what you discover, I’d love to know.

dsc02994v2500w1) Sometime during your day, perhaps best at bedtime, write down three things you are grateful for that have occurred in the past 24 hours. Also, write down why you are grateful. Each day find 3 new ones.

2) Think of a meaningful experience from you life for two minutes each day. Write down every detail you can remember. As you do this look at the words you used to describe your experience.

3) Add fifteen minutes of a fun activity each day with energy. This creates a cascading effect over the days. This is to be an active event.

4) Consciously add three smiles to your day. As you go through your day smile at people until three of them have replied spontaneously with a return smile.

5) Reconnect to your social network.

Consciousness and Energy

For a long time I’ve been wanting to do “energy healing”. I have discovered recently that I can have that integration. I first began energy healing in my late twenties. On and off since then I have been willing to do so while being shy about it. Shy because most people do not grant the existence of energy healing.

Recently I have combined the hypnotherapy (conscious) with the energy with two clients open to the experience. I am writing this because I am now publicly announcing that this integration is available. Both clients reported very positive experiences and I feel this is the future of my service.

I am writing this tonight because one client wrote: “I’m feeling so much better since our appointment. I have energy! Been cleaning and
“Tying up loose ends”. Checking off my list! Of course I keep making new lists!!!”

I am a certified Reiki healer and I have adapted aspects of that modality to blend with my Hypnotherapy and my decades of “Ricki” healing. I am using the cranial sacral method of making contact via gently holding the feet. I have noticed deeper trance states as a result. I’ve also noticed strong lasting post trance benefits.

I am thrilled to merge consciousness and energy into a synergistic powerful healing tool. In my past consciousness and energy was just a concept having to do with manifesting in three dimensional space. Now it is an action.  💜

Garden and Gratitude

I cleaned the garden today, getting it ready for winter. I’m hoping to get compost and more rock dust on it before Christmas. The freeze is coming soon now and most plants will succumb. If the freeze is hard and long, roots in pots may not survive. The garden and I both miss the longer days and the sun.

I transplanted lettuce into the tomato pots in the greenhouse, that’s the sign of an optimist I suppose. I just like to keep things alive, perhaps you do too. In gardens as in life there is the struggle to keep things going against the odds.

I’m often amazed how we as people don’t see opportunities that present themselves to us, later those opportunities may seem obvious, but at the time we can’t or won’t see them. A sage once said that everything we need to grow in awareness is always right there in front of us.  And, I’m always interested in why we do or do not see , sense, or feel them. Why our actions sometimes seem at odds with our best interests.

Get a PHD in Psychology and discover you don’t have all the answers. We humans are very complex. Often times we are afraid of making mistakes. We surely are going to along the way. But is anything ever without an opportunity? I’d say everything is an opportunity for wisdom and compassion. No matter what, it is better to act, to keep moving, experimenting than to sit paralyzed. A mistake still has momentum and will self correct, and from another point of view, may simply be an experience we really need.

When we are very young there are the terrible twos. I think of that time as a time when we children discover we are not free. We are being told no and we don’t like it. We become oppositional. To a greater degree this fades as we grow up, but not always. Sometimes it continues into adulthood unabated, but arising from the unconscious mind.

This season has been unusual, unusual because many people I know had great stress, and some great physical trauma. I am grateful for my health and I send hope for theirs.

Well, I’m happy, I had a nice garden this year. Something’s grew really well, others didn’t, it’s always like that. A garden is a lot of work. We have a great farmer’s market close to us. I do my best with my garden, not everything gets attended to at just the right moment. But there is more good than not from working in a garden, so I do what I can.

I just dug up the beets. I brought the surviving herb pots into the greenhouse space and now comes the winter.

This beet I am holding is about four pounds and last night we ate some of it and it was good. How we feed the plants though getting nutrition in the soil can yield very nutritious food.
